Access to Illinois Library Resources: Urbana-Champaign

To enhance and build outstanding leadership programs through establishing endowments for visiting scholars and establishing faculty awards.

ACES 4-H and Youth Development Programs Enhancement: Urbana-Champaign

The College of ACES wishes to ensure that 4-H, the historic leadership development program, continues to excel. Private sponsorships for all program areas must be obtained.

ACES Diversity Programs Enhancement: Urbana-Champaign

In order to continue to increase the diversity of the undergraduate body to better represent the demographics of the state, existing programs need to be enhanced and expanded.

ACES Experiential Learning and Teaching: Urbana-Champaign

The goal of this initiative is to enhance the understanding and application of technical information and to help develop skills such as analytical and decision making; hands-on, out-of-classroom opportunities are necessary to ensure that students "hit the road running."

ACES Faculty Support: Urbana-Champaign

To attract and retain the best and brightest faculty and students in current and immerging areas, endowed positions and supporting fellowships and programs will be required.

ACES Farmdoc: Urbana-Champaign

Funds are needed to ensure the continuation and enhancement of the major decision making tool upon which landowners and producers rely.

ACES Global Connect aims to provide the most effective use of faculty, department, college and external resources to support and strengthen dimension of research, teaching and outreach activities in the global arena.

The College of ACES aims at ensuring that all students have leadership development opportunities by incorporating leadership development initiatives in all courses, providing for community and public engagement and increasing access to opportunities like Illinois Leadership for all students.

Improved infrastructure in the Collegeof ACES for teaching, research and outreach is essential to meet the emerging opportunities.

Advancing the Creation and Dissemination of Knowledge: Chicago

UIC will add to and enrich the body of human knowledge through original research. Funds will support the research projects that faculty and graduate students pursue, as well as endowed chairs, professorships and interdisciplinary research centers. Also, infrastructure improvements will give researchers an empowering environment in which to do their best work.

Annual Funds : Urbana-Champaign

Annual fund gifts are critically important in ensuring that the deans and other University leaders can take advantage of unanticipated opportunities and address unforeseen challenges. By making contributions from year to year, alumni, parents and friends provide a consistent stream of support for academic and student-life programs.

Athletics Scholarships and Facilities: Springfield

UIS Athletics has three main principles that guide the program: win championships, engage the community and enhance the student-athlete experience. Increasing scholarship support is of paramount importance because it helps to attract outstanding student-athletes, the kind who win championships and engage the community. UIS Athletics has also launched an ambitious program of facility development and enhancement. The baseball field now has a scoreboard and infield turf. Further plans will address a softball field, the historic Kiwanis soccer stadium, and further upgrades to the baseball/softball complex.
