Teaching and Student Program Support: Urbana-Champaign

As part of its teaching mission, the University of Illinois strives to support and encourage curricular and programmatic options and innovations designed to strengthen its educational programs and performance. This includes providing students with a superb faculty of nationally and internationally recognized experts in a broad range of fields; providing high-quality educational experiences to our students; adapting educational models to provide interdisciplinary knowledge and opportunities for cross-disciplinary education; strengthening access to essential academic services, such as access to advising and mentoring; improving the quality of instruction; emphasizing meaningful honors programs; expanding opportunities for students to engage with faculty in research and creative activities; and increasing options for study abroad participation. Students will be engaged in civic commitment and community-based learning, internship programs will be expanded and “professors of practice” added to achieve this goal.

The Academy on Capitalism and Limited Government Fund: Urbana-Champaign

The Academy on Capitalism and Limited Government Fund has been established to promote scholarly research and the teaching of free market capitalism, individual rights, individual responsibility, limited government, entrepreneurship and enterprise as the foundation of a productive and successful society.
