Jacquline N. Schweighart
Assistant Secretary to the Foundation Board of Directors
Jacque Schweighart began working in advancement at the University of Illinois in 2004. She leads the Foundation’s central development services team that includes gift planning and trust services, donor services, and board and volunteer engagement and works closely with the vice chancellors at each university to support their fundraising teams and programs.
Jacque began her career in fundraising as a CASE Reuss Intern, a program that was established and endowed by late UIF director Bob Reuss. She went on to serve as a major gift officer at the University of Missouri-St. Louis before returning to her alma mater to work in annual giving and volunteer management for the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She then joined the Foundation as a regional major gift officer, and over her tenure has led central donor relations, principal gifts and university system presidential activities. Jacque has served as an elected corporate officer of the board of directors since 2011.
A two-time graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Jacque earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the College of Media and a master’s degree in higher education administration from the College of Education.
