Travis Shore
Chief Investment Officer
Travis Shore joined the University of Illinois Foundation in April of 2022. Shore, a CFA charterholder, came to the Foundation from Vanderbilt University where he had been since 2014. At Vanderbilt, Shore was the deputy chief investment officer and led the private and public market investment teams. Prior to Vanderbilt, Shore served as an Investment Director at the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and has also held director of investments roles at both New York University and the University of Florida. Before entering non-profit investment management, Shore held various roles at Wachovia and Merrill Lynch. Shore earned his BBA in banking and finance at the University of North Florida. Travis and his wife, Deidra, have a daughter Halie, a student at Florida State University.
