Giving with Cryptocurrency

Invest in the University of Illinois by donating your cryptocurrency to support the faculty, staff, and students at our world-class institutions. 

Cryptocurrency donations are tax deductible and your gift to us will be larger because instead of paying capital gains taxes, the University of Illinois Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity will receive the full value of your contribution. You will need to provide your name, address, and email for the gift to be tax deductible.  

The University of Illinois Foundation accepts bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies via BitPay on our online donation form.
